The main Post Office is located at 5 European Avenue. The monumental three-storey corner building is one of the largest Secession buildings in Croatia. It was built according to the designs of the Budapest architect István Bierbauer

The Nayer House, by Viennese builder Wilhelm Carl Hofbauer, was constructed in 1904

This building was the first house built in the representative Osijek Secession style.

The Pejacevic Well was designed by the architect Wilhelm Carl Hofbauer

The construction of the well in the City Garden of Osijek, New Town, was initiated and financed by the benefactor of Osijek, Count Pavao Pejacevic Viroviticki. The monument was donated to the Free and Royal City of Osijek on 11 July 1903. It was built according to the design of the architect Wilim Carl Hofbauer and is a masterpiece of Secessionist garden architecture in Croatia. After the Second World War it was removed from the Romantic City Garden and in the 1970s it was moved to its present location along the Upper Town promenade.
